A Little Black Box

Last night my CD Drive and my DVD Drive crashed! Yea, both at the same time. Go figure. I'm sure that the drives themselves are fine. It's the hard drive that is corrupted somehow that dropped the drivers. I'm not surprised. This beast has been steadily popping up with one problem after another for months. If it isn't one error, then it's a program freezing up, or files corupting or something else. So when I went to make labels for a new scrub and the CD drive would not recognize the software disk I knew I was in trouble. With no CD drive I could not even back up any files. Take it from the #1 procrastinator. BACK UP YOUR FILES REGULARLY !!! Instead of waiting until you are in trouble like me. I frantically asked a few great friends what to do and they suggested a Jump Drive. After checking those out, I realized that I needed something bigger. Much bigger! It's been a long time since I backed anything up. So, I'm now the proud owner of an 80GB External Hard Drive. This little Black Box is bigger in GB's that my whole computer! Amazing! I hooked this baby up and in about an hour in a half I had all my files, pictures, music, finances, you name it backed up. All squished into that little black box. Now in the morning I face the daunting task of the dreaded reformat. *enter spooky music here* So, if you don't hear from me for a few days. you'll know that I chucked this beast out the door, um I mean it's in the shop ;-)
