Crash!!!!

I've been absent for a few days. I'm glad that I got that little black box when I did. Yep, you guessed it. My computer crashed, the very next morning. Before I could finish backing up everything. I did get most of the important files backed up, but not my bookmarks/favorites, or my email addresses. It will be a daunting task to try and replace all of those. I am now attemping to work on an old machine that we had in storage. Key words 'attempting' and 'old'. Windows 98 old. And it has it's own set of problems. But I have managed to get a little bit done. Like finally stop dragging my heels about the whole advertising game. I've put it off forever. But no longer. I've joined and advertising co-op and just commited to my first real print ad. I am nervous and excited about it. It is also forcing me to learn my new Kodak Easy Share camera, as I have to take really good product photos to send to the magazine. I take such sucky photos, this will be a real learning experience. Another thing I'm learning is writing 'pitches' to be sent to various target mags. Thank goodness we have someone who has a marketing degree in the family. I had no idea that joining this co-op would force me outside of my comfort zone. But it's all good. Learning is good. If your not learning, your stagnating. And if that is true, you may as well not live in my opinion. Life is all about growth and new experiences. So here I come walking boldly into the world of advertising. Ready to learn. Now where is that camera?
